The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces has said Russia has lost 820,430 troops in Ukraine since the war started on 24 February, 2022.

In 2024 Russia suffered a staggering 434,000 casualties which is more than the 2022 and 2023 combined.

In an interview on Sunday Oleksandr Syrskyi said this also includes 150,000 killed in action last year, he did not provide a number on the casualties.
